Lebanese company, Kalastios International, produces (another) 100% natural slimming capsule. And they call it “Starvex” which is a shameless way of saying: “Stay healthy by starving yourself.” Seriously, we have crossed all boundaries of shame when it comes to dieting in Lebanon. My friend Ran thinks they mean to say “ex-starving, i.e. you don’t need to starve yourself anymore.. you can just take this capsule and it will slim you down.” I, on the other hand, think they ripped off “Kleenex” with “Starvex.” They are actually actively encouraging women to starve themselves. What is left to say about this industry in Lebanon?

as a result of all the ads that are rubbed in your face everyday, with their “photoshoped” perfect women bodies that will make you hate yourself more, therefore consume more dieting pills, therefore starvex wa cotex w kleenex w patax and co. will have more money to rip you off with more made up products, while on the other hand the advertising companies and ads are defining perfection for you in one model and no matter how relative beauty is, this is what’s becoming socially acceptable and lovable!
and by the way, the only thing getting fat here is the big machine of capitalism, that’s built on our insecurities! shame.

This is the worst product ever!!!!
It claims that it has no side effects at all since it is all 100% “herbal”
Yet the leaflet inside the box tells you that anyone who has heart problems should not take those pills. How could it be unsafe for people with heart disease since it has no side effects at all???
I also sent them an e-mail with lots of questions but they never replied.
Those pills are illegal and herb products cannot be sold at pharmacies. Nevertheless the FDA doesn’t list “Starvex” in it’s approved drugs.
The government should ban starvex just like they banned reductil!
And it should be done fast before people ruin their bodies even more and live an unhealthy starving life
i’m using starvex now but i’m not sure about it.

btw, i went to a dietion and she told me that it has no side effects and she did a research…
