Mother’s Day Hypocrisy
Ya3ni, we all know that corporations get especially greedy around Mother’s Day trying to shove ads down our throats everywhere we look. And it’s hypocritical of Lebanon to celebrate mothers anyway when they are so blatantly inferior to fathers in almost every aspect of the law. If you love mothers so much, give them their right to guardianship of their children at least!
But anyway, this particular billboard from Abed Tahan wins my vote as the champion of all misogyny towards mothers. Buy her a present so she can keep cleaning after you. What else, after all, is a woman’s role in this country than to clean after her family?

First : the bourgeois rich wont wait for mothers day to have this deal
2nd : She would definitely not be using the washing machine nor the vacuum the migrant worker would …
Conclusion : #samsung #fail since a big percentage of women have helpers at home ‘ Your mother wont think less or more by buying these machines .
This Ad pissed the hell out of me when i saw it, it’s so offensive on so many level!
A desperate way to Market their old appliances, AKA: old Style Vacuum. the message? Go get your mom some more Laundry and soil her carpets so she can think of you Twice! What about marketing it for the kids to help out their moms??? but hey, a mom = a slave !Way to go Abed Tahan’s marketing team
